The Victoria national football team was the football team which most recently represented the Storish protectorate of Victoria, and previously represented the independent nation and Gotzborger constituent nation of the same name. It was a member of AEFA and was run by the VFA.
The team existed twice in the FMF's history; firstly between 2010 and early 2012 as an independent nation, and secondly between late 2013 and mid-2020 as a constituent nation of Gotzborg and as a protectorate of Stormark.
History
The team was founded in 2010 after Victoria's Micrasian claim was successful. The team competed in the World Cup qualifiers the following year, finishing top of their tightly-fought three-team group, and qualified. The team finished with an identical record to Novatainia, but topped the group by virtue of their 4–3 aggregate head-to-head record. In the finals, the team finished third in their group with three points, ahead of fellow débutants Ashkenatza on goal difference. Victoria left Micras in early 2012 after being declared dead.
Victoria returned to Micras in late 2013 as a constituent nation of Gotzborg, and successfully reapplied for separate FMF membership in the process. In the following year's qualifiers, the team finished second in their six-team group with 19 points to reach the 2014 Copa Apollonia, where they finished third in their group with three points. Also in 2014, Victoria became a founding association of the Triple Crown Championship and competed in the inaugural tournament later in the year, where they finished second with three points.
In 2015's qualifiers, the team finished third in their five-team group with twelve points.
The 2016 Copa Apollonia qualification rounds saw the team once again finish third in their five-team group with twelve points; missing-out on a play-off spot by a point.
Victoria's fortunes improved in the following year's World Cup qualifiers, as they topped their four-team group on goal difference with nine points and qualified for a first World Cup finals in six years. In the finals, the team could only finish bottom of their group after losing all four of their matches.
In early 2018, ahead of the year's qualifiers, Victoria was annexed by Stormark but maintained its separate FMF membership. In the qualifiers, the team finished third in their six-team group with 15 points.
In the 2019 World Cup qualifiers, the team finished third in their five-team group with eleven points, ahead of Astaronia by virtue of goal difference.
In the following year's Copa Apollonia qualifiers, the team finished fourth in their six-team group with 15 points. Victoria left the FMF in mid-2020 as part of Stormark's expulsion from Micras.
