The Shâhanshâh-ye Babkhâ, often shortened to Shah was the head of state of Babkha. The modern Babkhan monarchy was as old as the restored Kingdom itself, beginning with Babak Shah's accession to the throne in the sixth month of 1449 AN. There were eleven Shahs of Babkha.
