The Nessus national football team was the football team which most recently represented the Jingdaoese constituent nation of Nessus, and previously represented the Apollonian constituent nation of the same name. It was a member of the AEFA.
History
Nessus applied successfully to join the FMF after the constituent nation was founded by the Apollonian Confederation in late 2014. In 2015, prior to the completion of the year's qualifiers, Nessus became part of Jingdao, but retained its separate FMF membership. In the qualifiers, the team finished fourth in their five-team group with nine points.
The 2016 Copa Apollonia qualification rounds saw the team finish bottom of their five-team group with just one point to their name. Later in the year, Nessus left Micras after being dissolved following the independence of Jexit from Jingdao. With the tournament having already begun, the team competed in the 2016 Emerging Nations Cup shortly afterwards; winning their quarter-final, semi-final and final to secure a first ever title before being disbanded and integrated into Jexit's national side.
