The Republican Imperial Coalition (RIC) is a moderate reactionary-conservative political party in Shireroth, advocating for a strong, centralized government, economic revitalization, and military reform. Founded in response to the chaotic aftermath of the Shiro-Benacian War and the need for a return to stable governance, the RIC sought to modernize Shireroth while preserving its imperial traditions and noble class.

Positioning itself as the middle ground between hardline reactionaries and progressives, the RIC appeals to bureaucrats, military officers, industrialists, and nobles who seek stability and controlled modernization. Its focus on economic recovery, national unity, and security has allowed it to gain significant support in post-war Shireroth.

The Republican Imperial Coalition is dedicated to forging a strong, stable, and prosperous Shireroth through pragmatic governance, national unity, and economic revitalization. We stand for a powerful and centralized state that safeguards the traditions of the Empire while adapting to the modern world. Our guiding principles are national sovereignty, economic self-sufficiency, and strategic military strength. Through the following policies, we aim to restore Shireroth’s rightful place as a leading global power.

I. National Sovereignty and Diplomacy We will restore diplomatic relations with former allies, particularly Nouvelle Alexandrie, ending the Fake War through economic reconciliation and debt repayment via industrial goods. Shireroth must remain independent in its foreign policy, maintaining a firm but diplomatic stance to ensure national security and economic prosperity. We advocate for a balanced international trade policy that prioritizes Shireroth’s economic interests and industrial capacity. Closer cooperation with our neighbours, without giving up our own independence. II. Infrastructure and Economic Development Massive investments in transport and infrastructure, including the Trans-Benacian Railway, expansion of ferry networks, and the Ayreon V Canal. Revitalization of liberated territories through industrial projects, mine re-openings, and dockyard expansions. Promotion of state-driven economic growth to ensure financial stability and self-sufficiency. III. Military and National Defense Reduction of standing army forces from 23 million (includes our reserves) to 600,000 to ensure economic sustainability while maintaining a highly trained reserve force. Shift towards naval and aerial superiority under a double-power standard, ensuring Shireroth’s naval force is twice the size of any potential rival to protect the tradelines from west to east. Investment in advanced military technology and defense industries to maintain strategic superiority. IV. Monetary Reform and Economic Stability Transition from the grain standard to the gold standard to restore the Erb’s international credibility. Strengthening state-backed industries to promote self-reliance and economic sovereignty. Expansion of research and technological industries, including robotics, shipbuilding, and aerospace. V. Political and Administrative Reforms Abolishing feudal political entities in favor of a centrally appointed Governorate System to enhance administrative efficiency. Retaining the nobility in high administrative roles while ensuring loyalty to the Imperial Republic. Strengthening government coordination through federalization of security services like the Tegong. VI. Social and Educational Reform Gradual reintegration of veterans into the workforce to prevent mass unemployment. Centralized education system with a curriculum focused on national pride, technical skills, and multilingual proficiency in Istvanistani, Praeta, and a regional language of choice from the region (Jingdaoese, Batavian, Frankish,...). Reforms to instill civic responsibility and strengthen national identity among citizens. VII. Law, Order, and Governance Strengthening the Judex to ensure justice and stability. Modernization of law enforcement to maintain public order and prevent internal threats. Expansion of our Imperial Marshals. A zero-tolerance policy for commoners towards corruption to uphold the integrity of the government.
