The Royal Meckelnburgh Navy (RMBN) is one of the nine uniformed services of the United Kingdom of Meckelnburgh and the naval force of the nation. The navy is an integral component of the Kingdom's armed forces as the nation's maritime force. The RMBN, in cooperation with the Royal Meckelnburgh Saeweard, is ultimately responsible for the nation's sea defense.
Coastal defense is the primary mission of the RMBN. The navy is charged with safeguarding the nation's shores, ports and maritime assets, intended to deter potential threats and incursions. Through a combination of patrolling, surveillance, and strategic positioning, the RMBN contributes to the preservation of Meckelnburgh's territorial integrity. The navy is also responsible for the Kingdom's interests across international waters and protect Meckelnburgh's global strategic interests.
The RMBN was the primary force responsible for securing the Grand Duchy of Iselande, during its collapse as the nation of Jääland. This conflict, known as The Troubles, saw the deployment of the Royal Meckelnburgh Naval Infantry to successfully secure the Jääland Peninsula over a yearlong operation. The navy has also been an integral component of the Lac Glacei-Meckelnburgh Canal Security Mission, protecting the Nurthaven and Antruusbuurg Canal south of Iselande.
