Angelo Greco, is a Vegnese famous lawyer and politician, serving as Prime Minister of Vegno in the 5th legislature, in the period of 1722 AN-1726 AN and as High Commissioner of the Raspur Pact between 1728 AN and 1733 AN.

Actually he's serving as Vegno's representative in the Raspur Pact.

Biography

Studies and legal career

A law graduate from the University of Sancrus, he began his career in the law firm of his father Giuseppe, a well-known criminal lawyer from Taurasi, which after his death was led by his older sisters Nicoletta and Ippolita. When the lawyer Piero Longone joined the firm, he started his profession in the criminal field, participating in the 1660s in the defense of Marco Giuanni, named by the press the Monster of Mhazar, responsible for a series of murders in the suburbs of the city.

Political activity

Although he has always been known in Vegno for his important legal cases, he has never entered into political activity, despite numerous requests from the parties.

This until, in 1722 AN, the elected President Antonio Visciglia instructs him to form a new technical government with the aim of reforming the electoral system given the great political instability resulting from the last elections and because the latter, despite having won the presidential elections , lacked a majority in parliament to form a new government led by his Unione Democratica alliance.

After the end of his mandate as Prime Minister of Vegno, he did not present himself as a candidate in the subsequent elections of 1726, therefore not participating in the 6th vegnese legislature. However, he was nevertheless appointed by the subsequent government of PNV and PDC, as representative of Vegno within the Raspur Pact for the five-year period 1727 AN-1731 AN.

From X.1728 AN he has been serving as High Commissioner of the Raspur Pact, until XV.1733 AN, when he tenders his resignation following the Streïur uis Faïren in Benacia, between two of the major members of the Pact.
