The start saw poleman [[Max Treuenfeld]] maintain first position, followed by [[Ben Lloyd]] and [[Samira Khan]]. Behind them, [[Trent Cooper]] overtook [[Michele Spettacolo]] for fourth place, while [[George Hunt]] gained two places to seventh. On the first lap, [[Toshio Sōma]] attempted to overtake [[Trent Cooper|Cooper]], but the two touched without consequences and lost ground. On lap four, Treuenfeld set the fastest lap of 1:24.501, increasing his lead over Lloyd to 2.5 seconds.


On lap six, Cooper made his first pit stop, using medium tyres, while the next lap, Hunt overtook [[Vorgeņ Brólt]] for sixth place. On lap nine, Treuenfeld, Lloyd and Khan made their first pit stops, also using medium tyres. On the tenth lap, the standings saw Treuenfeld in the lead, followed by Lloyd, Khan, Spettacolo, Sōma and Hunt. During the fourteenth lap, Hunt overtook Sōma for fifth place, while two laps later Spettacolo made his second pit stop, using soft tyres. On lap eighteen, Treuenfeld, Lloyd and Khan also made their second pit stop, using soft tyres. On the twentieth lap, the classification therefore saw Treuenfeld in the lead, followed by Lloyd, Khan, Hunt, Sōma and Cooper.
On lap twenty-seven, Cooper passed Sōma for fourth place, while on lap thirty-one, Treuenfeld made his third pit stop, using medium tyres. The following lap Lloyd and Khan followed the leader, making their third pit stop and using medium tyres. On lap thirty-six, Hunt overtook Cooper for fourth place, while on lap forty the key event of the entire race occurred: Treuenfeld made a mistake at turn 12, going long and ruining his tyres, Lloyd took advantage of it and he moved to within 0.6 seconds of Treuenfeld, and then overtook him the following lap at Turn 1, taking advantage of the slipstream and the DRS.
On lap forty-third, Khan closed in on Treuenfeld, putting him under pressure due to his tire problems, and overtook him on lap forty-six at Turn 7, in a decisive move. His difficulties with the tires then led him to lose positions to Hunt and Soma as well. On lap fifty-five, Lloyd crossed the finish line first, winning his second race of the season.
Khan finished in second place, 15 seconds behind Lloyd, while Hunt completed the podium, 19 seconds behind the leader. Sōma, Treuenfeld, Cooper, Schaffnaust, Entertainment, Osian and Islwyn rounded out the top ten. Treuenfeld got two extra points for pole position, while Khan got an extra point for fastest lap.

The 2023 Northbloom Grand Prix, officially presented as the Formula Micras Northbloom Grand Prix 2023, is a Formula Micras World Championship race that will be held on 5 November 2023 at the Village Green Circuit, a motor racing circuit in the city of Ermingander Village, Northbloom. It serves as the eleventh race of the 2023 Formula Micras World Championship.

Background

The drivers and teams were the same as the season entry list.

It will be the eleventh round of the 2023 Formula Micras World Championship and the second edition of the Northbloom Grand Prix. The 2022 edition saw the triumph of Trent Cooper, with Max Treuenfeld and Vorgeņ Brólt on the podium.

Qualifying

As clarified by the regulations, the qualifying session took place on 4 November 2023, with a 3-manche sessions: the 15 fastest drivers had access to Q2, then the 10 fastest acceded to Q3, where they fought for pole-position.

Race

Report

The race took place on Sunday 5 November 2023 on the Village Green circuit, in Ermingander Village, in Northbloom. The weather was sunny and dry throughout the race. The start saw poleman Max Treuenfeld maintain first position, followed by Ben Lloyd and Samira Khan. Behind them, Trent Cooper overtook Michele Spettacolo for fourth place, while George Hunt gained two places to seventh. On the first lap, Toshio Sōma attempted to overtake Cooper, but the two touched without consequences and lost ground. On lap four, Treuenfeld set the fastest lap of 1:24.501, increasing his lead over Lloyd to 2.5 seconds.

On lap six, Cooper made his first pit stop, using medium tyres, while the next lap, Hunt overtook Vorgeņ Brólt for sixth place. On lap nine, Treuenfeld, Lloyd and Khan made their first pit stops, also using medium tyres. On the tenth lap, the standings saw Treuenfeld in the lead, followed by Lloyd, Khan, Spettacolo, Sōma and Hunt. During the fourteenth lap, Hunt overtook Sōma for fifth place, while two laps later Spettacolo made his second pit stop, using soft tyres. On lap eighteen, Treuenfeld, Lloyd and Khan also made their second pit stop, using soft tyres. On the twentieth lap, the classification therefore saw Treuenfeld in the lead, followed by Lloyd, Khan, Hunt, Sōma and Cooper.

On lap twenty-seven, Cooper passed Sōma for fourth place, while on lap thirty-one, Treuenfeld made his third pit stop, using medium tyres. The following lap Lloyd and Khan followed the leader, making their third pit stop and using medium tyres. On lap thirty-six, Hunt overtook Cooper for fourth place, while on lap forty the key event of the entire race occurred: Treuenfeld made a mistake at turn 12, going long and ruining his tyres, Lloyd took advantage of it and he moved to within 0.6 seconds of Treuenfeld, and then overtook him the following lap at Turn 1, taking advantage of the slipstream and the DRS.

On lap forty-third, Khan closed in on Treuenfeld, putting him under pressure due to his tire problems, and overtook him on lap forty-six at Turn 7, in a decisive move. His difficulties with the tires then led him to lose positions to Hunt and Soma as well. On lap fifty-five, Lloyd crossed the finish line first, winning his second race of the season.

Khan finished in second place, 15 seconds behind Lloyd, while Hunt completed the podium, 19 seconds behind the leader. Sōma, Treuenfeld, Cooper, Schaffnaust, Entertainment, Osian and Islwyn rounded out the top ten. Treuenfeld got two extra points for pole position, while Khan got an extra point for fastest lap.
