The Bonfire Cup is the main Vegnese football cup, as well as the second most prestigious national professional competition after the Campionato Vegnese di Calcio.
The tournament is held under the jurisdiction of the FCV (Federazione Vegnese di Calcio) and is de facto recognized as a "federal cup". The winning team of the Bonfire Cup can adorn its official uniforms, for the twelve months following the conquest of the trophy, with the Vegnese tricolor cockade as an identifying symbol of the victory.
The tournament is organized in direct elimination, with a draw between the 8 teams participating in the vegnese football championship.
So there are quarter-finals, semifinals and final, which are played, all in dry competition.
