Qyzylqaystan was a protectorate of Jingdao, which was integrated as a district of Jingqyzyl later on. Its tribes are known as fearsome warriors who revere the Heavenly Light and brought the region under its control. They are often seen as the vanguard of the Jingdaoese defense against the barbarian Green tribes which have not submitted.
Throughout the late 17th century reign of the Chidao Emperor, Qyzylqaystan was integrated as a province into the Great Jing. The territory eventually reached a status of semi-independence from the Democratic Apollonian Republic of Kildare during and in the aftermath of the Second Kildarian Revolution. Its tribes united to establish the Qyzyl People's Republic.
