The Tarr genocide occurred over seven months culminating in the second month of 1694 during the Second Elwynnese Civil War, reportedly conducted by Humanist auxiliaries in the service of the Raspur Pact, supported by naval assets of the Black Legions and the Union Defence Force. It is believed that close to 200,000 people of Tarr ethnicity were killed. Some of the more fetching amongst the survivors were sold on to the Draconian contingents of the Humanist Vanguard, with a small contingent amongst those subsequently passing into the hands of Project Iakobson to be expended as test subjects.
The Tarr genocide was widely condemned in the Republic of Elwynn and Amokolia, in Hurmu, and in Zeed.
