The Toketi national football team was the football team which most recently represented the micronation of Toketi, and previously represented the Gralan constituent nation of the same name. The team was the official successor of Tokidoki, which was a founding member of the FMF, and as such retained its records. It was a member of the AEFA and was run by TIFSoF.

The team was generally seen as one of the most consistent national sides on Micras, and was one of three nations' teams to have appeared in every edition of the FMF World Cup finals, reaching the final in 2007 as Tokidoki, before failing to qualify in 2013.

History

The Tokian national team was created upon the foundation of Toketi in late 2007 as the successor state of the Gralan constituent nation of Tokidoki, itself previously an independent kingdom. Under the name of Tokidoki, the team was one of the founding members of the FMF when the organisation was created in October 2006 prior to the first FMF World Cup. The national team competed in the tournament, where they finished bottom of their three-team group with one point.

Tokidoki successfully bid to host the 2007 FMF World Cup alongside neighbours Novatainia. The team topped their group by virtue of goals scored ahead of Craitland thanks to a 7–5 win over Taesong. A convincing 3–1 win against Hurmu in the quarter-finals was followed by an impressive 4–0 victory over the previous year's runners-up Gaia, before the team lost to fellow group members Craitland in a tightly-fought final. Later in the year, Tokidoki joined Novatainia and Passas to form Gralus, with each constituent nation retaining its separate FMF membership, before being succeeded by Toketi a matter of months later.

In their first qualifiers, and first appearance as Toketi, the team topped their group without losing a game before a less successful finals campaign in which they finished bottom of their group with only a draw to their name.

The team were again convincing in qualifying the following year, again winning their group unbeaten. In their finals group, the team advanced in second place, finishing behind Nova England on goal difference, before losing 4–2 to Alexandria in the quarter-finals.

The following year's qualification was even more successful than previous years for the team, as they won all eight of their matches to qualify. The team's good form continued into the finals, topping their group with six points and beating Stormark in the quarter-finals. However, in the semi-finals, the team was well beaten by eventual champions Craitland, but saved some face by beating Monovia in the third-place play-off to finish third.

Another unbeaten qualifying campaign in 2011 saw Toketi secure a place in their sixth consecutive finals appearance. However, the team could not continue their success in the finals, finishing third in their group with two points.

The team survived a tricky group in 2012's qualifiers to once again qualify for the finals with 16 points. In the World Cup, the team finished bottom of their group with two points, but still only missed-out on the quarter-finals on goal difference. The team also failed to advance from their Copa Apollonia group later in the year, finishing third with four points.

In the following year's qualification, Toketi failed to reach the finals for the first time in their history. However, the team finished second in their five-team group with 16 points and qualified for their second Copa Apollonia, where they could only finish bottom of their group after winning one match.

In 2014, the team finished second in their qualifying group with twenty points, above Flanders on goal difference, to reach the 2014 Copa Apollonia. In the tournament, the team again performed poorly and finished bottom of their group with just one draw to their name. Shortly afterwards, Gralus was dissolved and Toketi regained independence.

Toketi gave their poorest qualification performance in the 2015 edition, where they could only gain nine points and finished fourth in their five-team group.

The 2016 Copa Apollonia qualification rounds saw the team finish second in their five-team group with 14 points, which advanced them to the play-offs where they lost by means of away goals after a 1–1 aggregate draw with Fort Kolgrad. Soon afterwards, Toketi left Micras.
