Die Antwoord (Afrikaans pronunciation: [di ˈantvuərt]) is a Kéijō-pop duo from Danville, Tri-State Area, formed in RP 2617 in Duren Sawit, Glorioso (Karenkō) Islands, Scattered Islands, consisting of two members, Peter Pínpokíe Flynn and Thomas James "Yukitane" Minamoto (T-Nola), who were also members of Kéi-Peterpan and Scan2Go, and are the continuation of Scan2Go after the band's last album. Their music, a mix of electronic, techno and R&B, is often produced by Oboi and Ferb, and performed in Sangunese, Scattered Islands Creole and Afrikaans. They were initially known as a duo using their name from their rock-influenced Standard Phineaner first single, DIA, which was released as a bonus track on their first album of Tokseh Karpet.

They were rebranded as "Die Antwoord" in RP 2618 for their debut album in RP 2619. After their branding, Die Antwood became famous throughout Phineonesia at the beginning of their appearance through the viral music video for their song "B.U.T" and "Superstar" which was included in the album Tokseh Karpet Pt.3 which was famous along with their other songs with Scan2Go such as "Beautiful Hangover", "Tell Me Goodbye" and "Koe wo Kikasete", making it a conversation on social media and blogs on Phinbella. Shortly after the sales of Tokseh Karpet Pt.3 and Scan2Go: Fast and the Fast, their electro-techno influenced debut album "Tone" was released.
