Yuiza Bohi'o (born 2.IV.1708 AN) is a Wakara lawyer and politician from Mayagüez, Boriquén, who has led the Wakara People's Party (WPP) since 1755 AN. First elected to the Cortes Federales in 1749 AN and re-elected in 1754 AN, she built a reputation in the Federal Assembly as a specialist in regional autonomy law and a critic of the centralization of authority in Cárdenas. She won the WPP leadership on 5.III.1755 AN with 61.4% of the vote, defeating acting chair Mayani Guacanagari and ending more than a decade of leadership by Gueyacán Vázquez. The third leader in the party's history and the first woman to hold the office outright, Bohi'o heads the party's twenty-eight-deputy group within the Alliance for a Just Nouvelle Alexandrie, the coalition led by Marcos Ferreira Gonçalves, where she has pressed for a more assertive Wakara voice while keeping the WPP inside the alliance. She took office as Secretary for Administrative Coordination and Efficiency in 1760 AN when the Alliance entered government under the Federal Accord. In the 13th Cortes she gave the WPP's support to the National Resilience Fund Act, 1758, tabled by opposition leader Marcos Ferreira Gonçalves on 2.IV.1758 AN to implement the National Resilience Fund referendum. At the 1759 general election she led the WPP to 28 seats, its best federal result, within the AJNA.
