The Wakara language (Lokono Dian, "people's language") is an indigenous language primarily spoken by the Wakara people in the Boriquén and Islas de la Libertad regions of the Federation of Nouvelle Alexandrie. Wakara enjoys official regional language status in these territories, where it is used alongside the federation's national languages. Approximately 7.8 million people speak Wakara, with the highest concentration in Boriquén where it remains the primary language of daily communication for nearly 68% of the population.

Wakara belongs to the Wakaroid language family and represents one of the best-preserved indigenous languages of eastern Keltia. Its history reflects the maritime culture of its speakers, with a rich vocabulary relating to navigation, weather patterns, and the natural environment of coastal and island ecosystems.
