Sven Yamamoto (c. 1660 AN-1721 AN) was a Whalean-Natopian architect best known for designing the MTO Headquarters in Huyenkula, inaugurated in 1709 AN, whose fusion of Hurmu monumentalism, Sangunese minimalism, and Benacian humanist brutalism was selected through an international competition in 1703 AN. Active across several Micras nations during a four-decade career, Yamamoto was associated with the Whalean school of mid-period institutional architecture and produced civic, diplomatic, and cultural buildings characterized by horizontal lines, exposed structural concrete, extensive use of light-toned local woods, and the careful management of natural light. He died in Lindstrom in 1721 AN.
