Sinchi Roca I (born Titu Auqui Acahuana, b. 4.XI.1662 AN) was the King of Nouvelle Alexandrie, having succeeded his father, the late King Manco Cápac I, after the tragic 1718 Condor shoot-down incident in 1718 AN. He reigned until his death in 1735 AN. Prior to his ascension, he held the title of Prince of Rimarima, the first to be invested since the end of the Wechua Sorrow, marking a "restoral" of the Wechua royal lineage. His son, Crown Prince Uturuncu, Prince of Rimarima, will ascend to the throne as King Sinchi Roca II.
Early life, family, and education
Sinchi Roca I was born as Titu Auqui Acahuana in the vibrant city of Parap, within the Wechua Nation, on 4.XI.1662 AN. As the eldest child of the reigning monarch, King Manco Cápac I, his birth was celebrated throughout the kingdom. His elementary education was handled privately, a decision influenced by his father's experiences. His tutors, chosen from among the most erudite in the world, came from Natopia, Shireroth, and Alexandria, were entrusted with introducing him to a wide array of subjects, from history to mathematics. As a young child, he often amazed his tutors with his quick understanding and eager curiosity. Sinchi Roca's middle school years further revealed his aptitude for learning. Particularly drawn to literature and philosophy, he frequently engaged in intellectual debates with his tutors. Simultaneously, he began his training in leadership and governance, beginning to understand the intricacies and responsibilities of ruling a nation. During his high school years, Sinchi Roca further honed his intellectual capabilities and leadership skills. His personal tutors during this time were experienced statesmen and women from the court, bringing him practical understanding of running a kingdom, economics, law, and foreign policy.
Fueled by an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a desire to broaden his understanding of the world, Sinchi Roca then decided to pursue higher education at several institutions. During his first two years, he attended the Imperial University of Alexandria at Triegon, Natopia. He spent summers in Dos Gardenias, often with his cousins in the House of Carrillo. He then transferred to Metzler University in Shirekeep, Shireroth for two years. This period was one of profound growth for Sinchi Roca. The exposure to a diversity of ideas, histories, and cultures in Shirekeep deepened his sense of empathy and global awareness, traits that would greatly benefit his future reign. It was during his studies in Shirekeep that he met his future wife, Abigail Ayreon-Kalirion.
Prince of Rimarima
In a momentous event that marked his passage to adulthood, Sinchi Roca was invested as the Prince of Rimarima at the early age of 19 in 1681 AN. The ceremony, steeped in tradition and symbolism, echoed throughout the Wechua Nation, as it was the first investiture of a Prince of Rimarima since the Great Restoration and the end of the Wechua Sorrow. The ceremony was well-attended in Rimarima with almost 2 million people coming to the city to witness and be part of the celebrations. The role would serve as the platform upon which he would further develop his leadership skills and dedication to his people.
Blrub on his relationship with Abigail, how they met, dated, got married. Family details start with Uturuncu then the rest of the births. The royal couple welcomed their first child, a son named Uturuncu, on 15.VIII.1689. This joyous event, announced by the Palace of Carranza earlier that year, was a symbol of continuity and hope for the future of Nouvelle Alexandrie.
