Brugen Aldef is a prominent businessman and politician in the Sovereign Confederation. He is the founder and owner of GleamCo, a leading manufacturer and supplier of sodium-based lighting equipment and micro-analog computers to the Benacian Union, and represented Ketsire in the Miþuï from 1703.
During the second Congress of Chryse, Aldef's evident dedication to reforming the Sovereign Confederation impressed the other Union representatives sufficiently that he would leave with several important political positions, including Director of Benacian Operations and member of the Board of Directors of the Honorable Company (effective 1.III.1704). He was also able to gain the Commission for the Panopticon of the Benacian Union for the Miþuï, with himself being selected to represent the body in Union-level affairs.
In 1711, following the "Panopticon Reforms", Aldef was elected President of the Realm's General Staff, where he played a key role in shaping the policies and direction of the Sovereign Confederation until his resignation from the post in 1728, shortly after the births of his sons. He continues to serve the Mithui and remains the Deputy to the Representative Commissioner for the Panopticon during the first years of the Mithui's leadership transition.
Aldef is known for his keen business acumen and his dedication to public service. He continues to play a leading role in the Sovereign Confederation, and is widely regarded as one of the country's most influential and successful politicians.
