An effort begun in 1710 AN to list and categorise the forces of the former Great Jing Dynasty which had survived the Second Kildarian Revolution and the Fortuitous Immolation, and additionally to list the Shirerithian and allied formations established in Greater Kildare since that date.
The register had been commenced amidst fears that the work of integrating the former armed groups into the feudal hosts of the new nobility had become stalled, leaving the frontiers vulnerable.
