Mehrshahr Conference

The Mehrshahr Conference (13.IX–24.IX.1721 AN), held in the Mehrshahr Special Economic Zone, was a summit meeting of the heads of the foreign affairs ministries of the Benacian Union, Normark, and the Suren Confederacy, to which the governments of Constancia, Nouvelle Alexandrie, and Zeed were also invited to send representatives. Principals present for the summit were:
- Ayesha al-Osman, for the Benacian Union;
- Ismail al-Osman, for Constancia
- Emil Josef Tarjeisson, for Normark;
- Rashid Sanook, for the Suren Confederacy;
- Siavash Shereen Hashemi, for Zeed;
- Maximinus Kerularios, for Nouvelle Alexandrie.
Mitradokht of Suren also attended the opening and closing days of the conference in her capacity as sovereign and host for the meeting.
Agenda
- Continuing operations against the Confederacy of the Dispossessed to their conclusion on the Norasht Front.
- Cooperation in the establishment of permanent naval task forces to combat piracy in the Sea of Storms.
- Schedule of payments for war debts, terms and conditions for reconstruction loans, mechanisms for the linkage of debt forgiveness to the concession of prospecting and extraction rights for key strategic minerals, including rare metals and hydrocarbons.
- Accession of the Suren Confederacy to the Community of Goldfield.
- Deepening of strategic dialogue and partnership between the Benacian Union and the Euran Economic Union.
- Dispatch of a joint-expeditionary force and permanent military mission to Anahuaco, under the leadership of Nouvelle Alexandrie, to reinforce the Imperial Armed Forces.
- Formulation of a system of sanctions and other targeted measures, to be directed against any nation or bloc that imposes measures upon member-states of the Raspur Pact, Community of Goldfield, or Euran Economic Union, including legacy sanctions regimes (e.g. those of the Xäiville Convention directed against Floria).
