Imperial State Library
The Imperial State Library is a planned centerpiece building in Petropolis.
After decades of planning, superintended by a desk in the Private Chancellery of the Autokrator of Constancia, it was transferred to the Office of National Priorities by Autokratorial Decree at the beginning of the administration of Mesazon Periklês Metaxas in 1727, when construction began in Petropolis. It was funded by personal revenues of the House of Santiago-Santander, with ESB Construction and Parap Construction and Engineering as joint contractors. It is targeted to be completed by end of 1732.
In 1730, it was decided by Autokratorial Decree to rename it as the Primo de Aguilar Imperial State Library, to honor the founder of the Imperial House, as well as the reigning Imperial dynasty.
