Haus Finkelstein

Haus Finkelstein is a fortified house that is built on the border of Etzeland in the Mondosphere and Rossmark in the Lanzerwald Republic, between Bein and Rossmarkt. It is unclear when the house was built, as the lady of the house. Sarah Finkelstein claims it was built by her father, and that she herself is only 29 years old, even though records of her habitation have been around for several centuries. In earlier times she seems to have been accompanied by a man, called Jacob Knochenfürst, although he has been presumed missing since 1534 AN, an event that has been brought into relation with the rise of Micrasanta by historians. Haus Finkelstein itself is an unassuming building, that is considered extraordinary difficult to find, even with a map, with legends stating that it can only be found by accident. The house has been found on both the Etzer as the Lanzerwalder side of the border, or right on top of it, reports on the exact location vary, so that officials on both sides agreed to treat it as something that belongs to both nations.

Haus Finkelstein is a common artistic motif in Hochfelden, and is often depicted on biscuit boxes and chocolate packaging from the region.
