The Empire of Nanjing is a ceremonial country, without any political power, within the Barbarian Republic. Its capital is Zijincheng, and its head of state is the Chidao Emperor. The existence of the empire is a tribute to the Cibolan first Jingdaoese Empire that existed roughly between 1592 and 1602. The name Nanjing is a play on the official name of the first empire, the Empire of Jingdao and South Batavia, Nan can be translated into Istvanistani as south.
