Overview
Transferred the role of policing in Normark, previously exercised by the Corps of the Gentlemen-at-Cudgels prior to the Second Elwynnese Civil War, to the Elian Militia.
The March of Normark, a territorial jurisdiction formerly policed by the Cudgellers, was formally identified with the boundaries of the self-same autonomous republic and was to be provided with a Superintendent Officer of Cudgels, supported by a Master of Cudgels in each of the subordinate bailiwicks. To these "officers of the peace" was transferred the powers provided under the Elwynnese Instrument of Government 1676-001 and the authority to deputise members of the Elian Militia to perform police auxiliary duties.
The order is a counterpart to Elwynnese Instrument of Government 1693-002 which mandated similar measures in Elwynn proper where powers were deputised to the Elwynnese Landstorm instead.
