Overview

Transferred the role of policing, previously exercised by the Corps of the Gentlemen-at-Cudgels prior to the Second Elwynnese Civil War, to the Elwynnese Landstorm.

Each "march", a territorial jurisdiction formerly policed by the Cudgellers, was formally identified with the boundaries of the autonomous republics and was to be provided with a Superintendent Officer of Cudgels, supported by a Master of Cudgels in each of the subordinate bailiwicks. To these "officers of the peace" was transferred the powers provided under the Elwynnese Instrument of Government 1676-001 and the authority to deputise members of the Landstorm to perform police auxiliary duties.
