The Colonial Long Service Medal was established by HRM King August Charles II in 2010. The medal is awarded to a Gotzer in recognition of recognition of his or her long service as an employee of the government of either the Royal Colony of Ansbach or the Royal Colony of Lusatia.
Distinguished service by an individual while in the employ of either of these governments is recognized by the Colonial Distinguished Service Medal, while general service is recognized by the Colonial Service Medal.
