The Colonial Service Medal was established by HRM King August Charles II in 2010. The medal is awarded to recognize a Gotzer's time, dedication and service to the Kingdom through the course of his or her employment with the government of either the Royal Colony of Ansbach or the Royal Colony of Lusatia. Distinguished service by an individual while in the employ of either of these governments is recognized by the Colonial Distinguished Service Medal, while one or more years of service is recognized by the Colonial Long Service Medal.
