Carlos Mendoza is a New Alexandrian diplomat who served as Nouvelle Alexandrie's Ambassador to Oportia from 1739 AN until his recall in 7.II.1745 AN. A career civil servant from the Region of New Luthoria, Mendoza was nominated to the Oportian posting by Premier Juan Pablo Jimenez during his first term in office.
Prior to his ambassadorial appointment, Mendoza had served in various diplomatic roles within the Department of State, building expertise in international trade relations and bilateral diplomacy that made him a suitable candidate for the strategically important Oportian mission. His tenure coincided with a period of expanding economic cooperation between Nouvelle Alexandrie and Oportia, though his diplomatic career was ultimately cut short by his recall in early 1745 AN due to the Chastisement of the Inharmonious.[1]
