Camp Trident is a former Florian military installation located in the north of Mehrshahr, Suren. It was the headquarters of the Florian operations during Operation Red Crescent. It subsequently served as a logistics hub for the Florian Army and Air Force as well as accommodated Florian Army soldiers for desert training. In 1721 AN, the installation became a strategic hub for wartime operations this time during the Norasht campaign.
With the withdrawal of Floria from the Raspur Pact in 1727 AN, control of the camp passed to the Grand Commissariat of Eura and Corum.
History
Kapavian insurgency
Norasht campaign
In late 1728, the Committee of Euran Salvation was prevailed upon by the Trans-Euran Command to make Camp Trident a permanent fortification of the Raspur Pact forces, and plans were launched to either reconstitute the Kamalshahr International Airport, or build a new one within the vicinity of Camp Trident.
Surenid Civil War
During the Surenid Civil War the camp was at various times used as an internment site for rebel sympathisers and their known associates awaiting trial and execution.
The Grand Commissariat of Eura and Corum also maintained a significant logistics hub for the purpose of sustaining deployed loyalist forces engaged in pacification operations throughout the north and east of the Confederacy during 1732 AN and 1733 AN.
