An Edict Pertaining to the Amicable Grant of Sovereignty to the Kingdom of Normark by the Serene and Eternal Riqi Elluenuuerssuarion

Given this day at the Congress of Chryse during its Second Session:

May all who harken to the cause of the Human Supremacy over Micras rejoice at the grand restoration of our Benacian homeland, the bastion and citadel of the Humanist vision for a Rightly Guided and Harmonious Society, protected with utmost benevolence by the Coordinated State. Truly it is the destiny of all mankind, the world entire, and the worlds that lie beyond, to be brought into the perfection of communion with the Will of the Highest Divinity and all the radiant entities of the Celestial Temple, linked and yoked forever within the great chain of being. In the fullness of time, all souls shall be bound to the Covenant.

Let no mortal doubt that the unalterable destiny of the Riqi Elluenuuerssuarion lies within the Union-State established at Chryse. The Benacian Union is the means and the vehicle for the renewal of the continent, and Elluenuueq has its place at the heart of that great and noble project, as an equal partner and foremost contributor. However as we commit to our Benacian Destiny we must recognise that the Union-State, as the Ruling Humanist Oversector Entity for the continent, necessarily is not the vehicle for the coordination and harmonisation of realms beyond its natural bounds.

This brings us to the matter of Normark. Throughout the duration of the strife which characterised the last decade, it has remained loyal to the Sacred Cause of Humanism. Its rulers, and its subjects, kept faith with Elluenuueq, and with the Raspur Pact, during in times when it would have been easy and expedient for those obligations to have been cast aside.

Such loyalty must necessarily be rewarded!

Whereas Normark, by virtue of being Keltian, lies outside the bounds of the Benacian Union, it is right and proper that, while we remember and respect the bonds of shared history and affection which bind it to Elluenuueq, that an amicable grant of sovereignty be freely made that allows Normark to participate as an equal member of the Raspur Pact, a full partner in every way in the global struggle for the salvation of Humanity.

We therefore ordain, that:

  1. Normark shall be a Kingdom, exercising the full measure of sovereignty as a member of the Raspur Pact, ruled by the scion of the Line of Einhorn, Tarjei Thorgilsson, who shall be recognised as King of Normark and Archon of the Einhornselskapet.
  2. Normark shall be ruled as a constitutional, Humanist, Kingdom, according to the Rule of Law.
  3. The practice of Democracy, by Loyal Subjects of Established Probity, shall be graciously permitted provided that it does not imperil the established character of the Kingdom, its fundamental obligations, nor lead its populace into error and heresy.
  4. The former Union Defence Force Garrison of Normark, lately incorporated as the Nordhær, shall pledge its allegiance to Tarjei Thorgilsson as King and Archon, and to him alone.
  5. The King, upon his investiture, shall lead the Nordhær in the service of Normark and the Keltia Continental Theatre Command of the Raspur Pact.
  6. The Nordhær shall recruit from the populace of Normark, and from amongst volunteers from any other member state of the Raspur Pact.
  7. Following the investiture, a formal transfer of sovereignty ceremony shall be held at Konungshjem by no later than the twenty-fourth day of the first month of the one-thousand seven-hundred and fourth year after Norton.
  8. All other details pertininent to the restoration of sovereignty hereby ordained shall be undertaken by commissioners appointed to the task.
