The scandal began on 13.I.1723 AN when the The Lyrican Herald first reported of a leak of hundreds of pages of a group chat on the messaging application PachaChat between the party leaders.
The leaked confidential discussions among several prominent political party leaders exposed the underlying discontent among the leaders regarding their coalition with the ruling Federal Consensus Party government led by Premier Marissa Santini but also raised questions about the security and ethical implications of digital communication tools in politics.
