Template:People basic Saladin was the last president of the Republic of the Netherlands. It was his party, the Islamic Revolutionary Party that reformed the republic into the Islamic Internet Republic on June 28, 2010. He said he wanted to give the nation a more distinct identity viz-à-viz Flanders and Batavia. Saladin was the first and last Sadr of this republic.

Due to the deadlock that resulted from the elections of June 2011, Saladin announced to go into exile on July 4, 2011. On October 31st, 2020 the IIR was restored to Micras with Saladin as its Sadr. He was re-elected on November 10, 2020.

The office of Sadr is a ceremonial role, and Saladin is known to keep this very seriously. He rarely participates in political debates or controversies.
