The Caradian National Strategic Commission (CNSC) is a conglomeration in Caradia of the Caradian Coal Company (CIC) and the Caradian Arms and Armour Trust (CAAT). The CNSC was created in mid 1679 by King-Saint Godrîc XI in order to facilitate labour and strategic materials being allocated more effectively. The distance between the CIC, which has since its inception been the prime supplier of raw materials in the Duchy, and the CAAT which supplies all military endeavours, reduced the effective development rate of the military. Thus, the companies were combined, retaining their own functions as subsidiaries of the CNSC, but they are required to cooperate when developing a project that is deemed to be of national importance, most recently Proiect: Ceruri Arzătoare and Egidă.
