Axikakan ("Unity", "Together" in Sanaman) was founded on 12.X.1754 when President Toti Lampa reformed the old Workers' Revolutionary Front. The new party leans more heavily into left-wing nationalism and populism. Shortly after founding, Toti Lampa oversaw the election of his son, Esra Ketema Lampa, as the new chairperson of the party on 1.I.1755. Later that year, Ketema Lampa succeeded his father as President of Sanama.
