The Stahlhelm (Praeta: Salszhilm) is Praeta for "steel helmet", the usage and the type having become a commonplace in the militaries of the Raspur Pact.

In spite of its name and Benacian provenance, the Natopian design of the [M1671, whilst retaining the tradition shape of the M1639, featured a shell made of ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene materials and housings for modular communications and situational awareness equipment. Production in behalf of the Benacian Union Defence Force, Natopian Defense Force, Imperial Constancian Armed Forces, and other militaries of the Raspur Pact, is undertaken by Neridia Defense Industries.

The Stahlhelm, retaining the distinctive "coal scuttle" shape of its Benacian forebears, is instantly recognisable and became a common element of military propaganda.
