The Royal Commission on Artificial Intelligence is a nine-member government body established under the Royal Commission on Artificial Intelligence Act, 1745 to oversee the deployment of artificial intelligence systems across the public sector of Nouvelle Alexandrie. Appointed by His Majesty the King of Nouvelle Alexandrie on the advice of the Premier, the Commission operates with broad authority to study, implement, and monitor AI applications throughout all levels of government, building upon the administrative efficiency successes achieved by the Administrative Coordination Office (now the Department of Administrative Coordination and Efficiency) since 1741 AN.

The Commission coordinates closely with the Department of Research and Development on advanced Alexandrium-enhanced AI technologies and quantum-processing applications, while working with the Administrative Coordination Office to integrate AI solutions into existing government operations. Since its establishment in 1746 AN, the Commission has successfully implemented seven mandatory AI systems across 847 government offices, achieving a 67% reduction in document processing times and 94.2% accuracy rates in automated decision-making processes, while maintaining comprehensive privacy protections and algorithmic transparency through public registries.
