The Brettish Isles national football team was the football team which represented the micronation of the Brettish Isles. It was a member of the WMFA. The team is the official predecessor of Avalon.
History
The team was founded in early 2014 after the Brettish Isles' Micrasian claim was successful. However, the national team's FMF membership was granted too late for them to be involved in the 2014 FMF World Cup qualification rounds.
In their first qualifiers the following year, the team gained four points as they finished bottom of their four-team group. Later in the year, the team competed in the inaugural Lions Cup, where they finished second with ten points. Shortly afterwards, the Brettish Isles were succeeded by Avalon.
