Luka Adam Verbic or just Luka Verbic is a Dauian professional football player who plays as a forward for F.C. Cossa Perfection in Vegno. Dubbed as one of the most promising youth talents of the Bintang Lukana academy, Luka is highly regarded as the next Clover bin Clover for Daau and is also one of the highly rated striking prospects in Eura.

He holds the record for the youngest Dauian player to ever score a goal for the national team.

Club career

Bintang Lukana

Luka transferred to Bintang at the age of 14 from local club Nislik Botal Submarine with his younger brother Jan Verbic.

Two years later, Luka would make his senior debut for Bintang in a 4-1 victory in the All Dauian Cup against Cezero Negrata with him scoring his debut goal to seal off the match, a week later he would make his first league appearance with a win to Daau United with him again scoring to make the score 2-1 while also being Bintang's youngest player to score and make a league appearance at the age of 16 years, three months and 16 days. Verbic finished the 2020-21 season as the joint top scorer of the team with Cristian Calagri, despite missing 4 months of action due to an injury. His performances led to a contract extension till 2024 with Bintang Lukana.

During the 2021-22 season, Adam would continue to perform at the top levels with him going on level terms with legendary striker Clover bin Clover with 25 goals but however fell short at the end of the season. He would finish the seasn with 26 goals and 13 assists for the team.

Cossa Perfection

Verbic scoring his 14th goal of the season in matchday 29 of Lega A Vegnese against Pescevilla Calcio.

2022-23 season

The young striker joined Cossa Perfection for Cr 1.2m on the 18th of September. Luka would make his debut in a 1-1 draw to Extremum which saw the young striker score and equalize for his club in the 73rd minute of the game. Luka then netted his first brace for the club in a 3-0 victory over Villanova in gameweek 10. Luka then netted his 10th goal of the season in a 2-0 win over Lamino.

Luka's first season was quite significant, being often included in the league's team of the week and nominated seldomly for the player of the week awards. Luka finished his first season overseas with 14 goals in 29 games for his club. Despite his strong performances for the club, Cossa Perfection were stuck in mid-table and were not in contention for a top spot nor a spot in the AEFA Champions League. Cossa Perfection finished in a disappointing sixth position.

Despite the club's routs in the league, Luka continued his strong performances in the Bonfire Cup, becoming the on-field tactical mastermind in the round of 16 tie against Taurasi Calcio despite not scoring. However his scoring form continued in the next round against city rivals Cossa United where he sent his boyhood club into the semi finals but came short in a semi-final defeat to defending champions Virtus Glovetese. Luka spoke about his ambitions to guide the club into their first AEFA Champions League run and hopes to rally the support for his teammates in a charge for the top 4 positions next season.
