The Caradian Coal Company (Sarnechi: Campaști Întrependurul Caradic) is a nationally owned company in Caradia. Originally founded to finance the mining and distribution of Coal, the company has since expanded its focus to all areas of industry, including the Caradian steel foundries, transportation lines, and burgeoning nuclear power supply. The company operates and owns all industry at the national level, and is the only manufacturer and supplier of steel, coal, oil, and uranium in the Duchy.
In mid 1679 the CIC was subsumed into the CNSC by a decree from the King. The change allowed the CIC to begin participating directly in military development, and contributed a large amount of resources to the activities of the CAAT.
