Court of the Throne

The Court of the Throne is the highest judiciary system in the Duchy of Caradia. The Court is held in the highest authority when it comes to interpretation of the law of Caradia, and it holds power when it comes to challenging the law of previous monarchs. The Court is presided over by a group of nine judiciaries, which are in turn presided over by the monarch, who holds the title of Supreme Judiciary. Ostensibly, the monarch has final say in all judicial proceedings, but ultimately it is rare that a monarch participates directly in a trial, and so the judiciaries hold much power in the Caradian government.
