Louisian Relief Fund
The Louisian Relief Fund is a humanitarian initiative established by the Department of State of Nouvelle Alexandrie in 1736 AN in response to the reported discrimination and poverty faced by the Louisian people in the United Principalities of Cibola.[1]
The fund was created following the publication of Wolfgang Arnholtz's exposé "The Plight of the Louisians", which brought international attention to the Louisians' situation. Its primary objectives are to provide financial assistance, medical aid, and educational support to Louisian communities, as well as to facilitate the relocation of Louisians to Nouvelle Alexandrie if they choose to emigrate.
The fund has received significant support both domestically and internationally. Oportia and Natopia, close allies of Nouvelle Alexandrie with significant Alexandrian populations, have pledged substantial contributions to the fund, demonstrating solidarity with the Louisian cause. Additionally, private citizens within Nouvelle Alexandrie have made generous donations, reflecting widespread public sympathy for the Louisian plight. The fund is managed by a board of trustees appointed by the Department of State, which oversees the allocation of resources and ensures transparency in its operations. The fund was also supported by Princess Emilia Antoinette, the business association of Louisville and Galadriel Camel, all from the Confoederatio Aemilia which has a significant Louisian minority.
