On November 26, RP 2619, a cruise ship sanked that occurred 9.4 kilometers southwest of Clavering Island, an island located approximately 40 kilometers from the capital of Phinbella, Negara Awan, this island is administered by the Federal Special Capital Territory. A cruise ship en route from Barack Island, Pokok Emas Islands, Forajasaki to Sendai, Ssamaritan Islands, Oriental Hispanioéire Taemhwan, also carrying a cargo weighing 4,539 tons, sent a distress signal from the scene at 07:14 NAT (03:14 CMT). Of the 548 passengers and crew who boarded the cruise ship, a total of 268 people are said to have died due to suffocation in the disaster, 147 people have been found dead and 121 people have yet to be found. Of the 280 survivors, 157 were rescued by a vessel of Phinbellan Navy based on the island and the rest were rescued by the Phinbellan Coast Guard (PhCG) ten minutes later. The search for victims who have not yet been found was carried out by both parties.
