Service career
Conscripted for two years national service, 1699 AN – 1701 AN.
Completed basic training by I.1700 AN. Consigned to the Casualty Replacements Holding Pen of the Merarhia Ippikou (Cavalry Division).
Purchased release from Holding Pen in return for signing papers pledging to a kul-contract as an officer's orderly on a five year term of enlistment. Passed amongst officers of the 9th Syntagma (1700 AN – 1704 AN).
Released from obligation of service to his contract holders, 1704 AN. Denied discharge from service to the Army and sent to stockade. Released from stockade upon signing a ten year contract of enlistment.
Enrolled into the Madrese-ye Nezām as part of the first Constancian draft of officer cadets in 1708 AN.
Promoted to Sarhang (Colonel), 1732 AN.
Officer Commanding, 7th Syntagma (cadre of the Merarhia Ippikou (Cavalry Division)), 1732 AN – 1734 AN).
Promoted to the rank of Taxiarchos (Brigadier), 1734 AN.
Attached to the Most Serene Regiment of the Hikanatoi in the Honour Guard of the Basileus (1734 AN – 1737 AN)

Director of Planning for the Aqaba Banner Group of Trans-Euran Command from 1744 AN to 1745 AN. Staff officer with responsibility for operational planning during the Constancian invasion of Oportia.
Appointed Chief of Staff to the 509th (Surenid) Army in 1752 AN.
