Cake Bakes, also known as the Cake Bakes Company, Inc., is a Ransenari national fast food restaurant chain headquartered in Goldfield, Ransenar. Cake Bakes serves cake, doughnuts, cupcakes, bagels, cocoa, coffee, tea, sandwiches, salads, and a multitude of other fast food items. It is Ransenar's largest quick-service restaurant chain, with 943 restaurants in Ransenar alone. Plans to expand to Nouvelle Alexandrie, Western Natopia, and Normark were announced in early 1712 AN. These plans are currently in the early venture capital fundraising process, however, significant interest was generated when Kerularios & Company purchased a large share of the company and infused it with additional capital for the international expansion.

The company was founded in 1693 AN in Goldfield, Ransenar, by Ransenari baker Louise McCarthy and New Alexandrian restauranteur Marcel de la Vega, who partnered after they ran an early version of Cake Bakes from a small, temporary stand at the Goldfield Farmer's Market with great financial and critical success. After partnering with several other local restauranteurs, McCarthy and de la Vega started opening actual stores and locations, as well as maintaining a large array of mobile sales options such as food carts. Throughout the expansion (and to this day), however, Cake Bakes maintains its original and coveted spot in the Goldfield Farmer's Market, where once every week, McCarthy herself bakes the day's batch, generally considered extra special due to her decorative choices on the pastries of the day. The company's focus on quality and freshness has helped it establish a loyal customer base, and its commitment to sustainability has earned it a reputation as a socially responsible business. Cake Bakes sources its ingredients from local farmers and suppliers whenever possible, and it has implemented a number of initiatives to reduce its carbon footprint, such as using biodegradable packaging.

Cake Bakes locations are known for serving a multitude of hot and cold drinks, cocoa and chocolate drinks, whole-bean coffee, micro-ground instant coffee, espresso, caffe latte, full and loose-leaf teas, juices, cakes, pastries, and snacks. Some offerings are seasonal or specific to the locality of the store.

Cake Bakes' menu is constantly evolving to meet the changing tastes and preferences of its customers. Starting in 1717 AN, the company has made a conscious effort to cater to health-conscious consumers by offering a range of salads, sandwiches, and smoothies made with fresh ingredients. Additionally, the company has started offering gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options to better cater to customers with dietary restrictions. Also in 1717 AN, Cake Bakes debut several locations in Nouvelle Alexandrie and Natopia, opening 10 stores in each country as its first international expansion.

Cake Bakes has also been recognized for its efforts to support its employees, offering competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth and development. The company is committed to creating a supportive work environment and has been recognized as a great place to work by numerous publications and organizations.
