The Phinbellan Federal Police Agency (abbrv. PhFPA; Phineaner: Agensi Polis Persekutuan Phinbella), also known as the Phinbellan Federal Police (abbrv. PhFP; Phineaner: Polis Persekutuan Phinbella) is a national and principal federal law enforcement organization of Phinbella with a unique role in investigating crime and protecting the national security of the Federal Republic of Phinbella. The PhFP is an independent agency run by the Ministry of Home Affairs and Security, and should be accountable to the ministry as well as the Phinbellan Federal Legislative Assembly. Its headquarters are 97, Tongil-ro, Kandahaq, Capital District, Negara Awan. Although each of the autonomous entities and special administrative territories has its own police agency, this agency is divided into 18 local police agencies, including the Negara Awan Capital Police Agency. Local police agencies are not independent of the national police. As of December RP 2616, the Federal Police Commissioner of Phinbellan is Muhammad Aziz Nur Akbar, formerly the Commissioner of the Territorial Police Agency of Soccsksargen.
The origin of the federal police organization in Phinbella starts from the Phinbella Federal Provisional Government Police. In RP 2612 to RP 2615, under Phinbellan's provisional military governance, the Federal Police Administration Bureau (Biro Pentadbiran Polis Persekutuan) was established, local police departments in several parts of the Phinbellan-administered territories, relying upon the police from the Forajasakian and other country administered era to maintain law and order.
The constitution, control, employment, recruitment, funding, discipline, duties and powers of the police force are determined and regulated by the Police Act RP 2615. Like most police in other countries, the Federal Police has a focus and responsibility to prevent, investigate, combat and disrupt serious, complex and organized crime such as internal and border terrorism, violent extremism, cybercrime, child exploitation (such as incest and rape of minors), drug smuggling and human trafficking. The Federal Police also has the responsibility to maintain public order, protect and secure the people of Phinbella together with the police agencies of the autonomous entities and special administrative territories. PhFP is also responsible for delivering community policing in the Federal Special Capital Territory through the Negara Awan Capital Police Agency, as well as directly administered territories and dependent territories through their respective territorial police agencies.
