The Nordic Union national football team is the football team which represents the micronation of the Nordic Union. It is a member of the EMUFA, and is run by the NNFO. The team is the official successor of Normark, and as such retains its records.
History
The team was founded in early 2012 after the Nordic Union, the successor state to Normark, successfully claimed on Micras. Under the name of Normark, the team finished as runners-up in their qualifying group for the 2011 FMF World Cup. In doing so, the team qualified for the 2011 EMU Championships, where they could only finish bottom of their group with two points.
The Nordic Union team competed in the 2012 qualifiers for the first time, finishing top of a tough five-team group including Passas with 15 points to reach the 2012 FMF World Cup and EMU 2012.
