The Brettish Isles national football team is the football team which represents the micronation of the Brettish Isles. It is a member of the WMFA. The team is the official predecessor and successor of Avalon, and as such retains its records.

The team has existed twice in the FMF's history; firstly between early 2014 and mid-2015, and secondly since mid-2016.

History

The team was founded in early 2014 after the Brettish Isles' Micrasian claim was successful. However, the national team's FMF membership was granted too late for them to be involved in the 2014 FMF World Cup qualification rounds.

In their first qualifiers the following year, the team gained four points as they finished bottom of their four-team group. Later in the year, the team competed in the inaugural Lions Cup, where they finished second with ten points. Shortly afterwards, the Brettish Isles were succeeded by Avalon.

Under the name of Avalon, the team finished third in their 2016 Benacia Cup qualification group with 13 points, before Avalon was succeeded by the Brettish Isles shortly afterwards.

Back under the name of the Brettish Isles, the team played in the 2017 FMF World Cup qualification rounds, where they finished third in their four-team group with six points.
