Electrification
The main railway network of the Volksbahn in the Lanzerwald Republic is electrified with 25 kV AC, this includes all major connections between the large and smaller cities on the east coast and all passenger connections except on the Tundralinie between Herodiasgrad and Damenwald. Freight connections further inland are often done with diesel locomotives, or with steam engines. especially the WMF-Baureihe 206 and OMW Schwere Dampflokomotive. International freight connections over the Cibolan Rail network are preferably done with electrical locomotives. The electrification adheres to Cibolan Rail standards so the entire electrified network is accessible to all trains that also adhere to this standard.
