The Four Winds summit, held in the aforementioned hotel on the Radiant Sun Plaza of Aqaba in early 1744 AN brought together a number of interested principals eager to discuss the strategic geopolitical situation in southern Eura. These included Fatima Al-Khamenei, Ismail al-Osman, Vivek Jarkhanda, and Jost Grobba.
The minutes of the summit subsequently passed into the care of the State Protection Authority whilst a set of four broad conclusions were forwarded to the Board of Directors of the Honourable Company, the Committee of Euran Salvation, and the General Staff of the Trans-Euran Command. The four conclusions never made it into the public domain but were believed to address the inevitably of military intervention in Oportia, the precarious situation of Zeed, the likelihood of a Constancian-led victory through attritional warfare, and the post-war scenario that such a victory would unveil for southern Eura.
Although the summit informed the pre-war planning of the Trans-Euran Command, the scale of the Natopian and New Alexandrian intervention against the Oportian regime ultimately altered the outcome of the conflict, preserving Oportia as a territorially intact constitutional democracy rather than the truncated Humanist statelet that was its envisioned destiny.
