Hans Schafenweide (née Annabelle Schafenweide) is a politician born in Stadt Sankt Ludwigshafen in Sankt Ludwigshafen in 1692. He is the younger brother of Simon Schafenweide and the son of Ludwig Schafenweide. Following the suicide, on 14.I.1717, of his older brother, who was acting as Stadtholder since the 1716 Ludwiggian Restoration, Hans Schafenweide was appointed ad interim Stadtholder of Sankt Ludwigshafen by the Stadtparlement. He was responsible for instigating the 1717 Military Reorganisation in Sankt Ludwigshafen. Since 1720 he has been a manager at the family company Osthügel Motorenwerke, which was founded by his grandparent Ayreon Friedrichssohn.
Hans is married to Arthur Delfinenstrand and together they have two children, Emilia and Kaspar Schafenweide-Delfinenstrand.
