The Humanist Institute for Natal Research was established at Lune Villa (Ransenar) on 1.XIII.1712 AN with a charter derived from the Benacian Academy. Whilst subordinate to the Academy, the institute reports directly to the Golden Order Party. In contrast to rival programmes such as the Benacian Surrogacy Service, the institute focused primarily upon a technological solution to the demographic crisis occasioned by the long-term consequences of the Second Elwynnese Civil War and the Scouring.
The institute comprises of a board of control, central secretariat, security office, barracks and administration area, and the Ectogenesis Research Group.
The N&H Future Leadership Programme maintains a liaison office at the site.
